The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia has opened applications for its Graduate Research School Scholarships (UQGRSS) , which include scholarships funded through the Research Training Program (RTP) .

These scholarships support domestic and international students seeking admission to an eligible higher degree by research program at UQ, including the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) , Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and certain research-focused professional doctorate programs.

Successful applicants receive an annual living stipend of AUD 39,220 , based on the 2026 rate. The stipend is tax-free under the applicable conditions and indexed annually. The scholarship also covers tuition fees and provides Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for eligible international students.
