By using the ElWijha platform, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Registration data: first name and last name, email address, password (encrypted), profile picture (optional).

Profile data: nationality, country of residence, language level, goals (travel, study, work, immigration).

Payment data: payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or complete banking data on our servers. We only retain the Stripe customer ID and transaction ID.

Visa documents: if you use our visa assistance service, we may collect copies of passports and required documents. These documents are processed with strict confidentiality and deleted within 90 days of service completion.

Usage data: pages visited, time spent, device and browser type, IP address (anonymized), your interactions with content.

Data via social accounts: if you register via Google, we only receive your name, email, and profile picture.

We use your data to: provide and improve our services, process payments and transactions, manage your account and communicate with you, personalize your experience on the platform, send important notifications about your account or our services, improve platform performance and analyze usage.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

We share your data only with: Stripe for secure payment processing, Google for authentication service (if you choose to register via Google), OpenAI to power the AI assistant (only conversation text is sent, without personally identifiable data).

We may share aggregated and anonymized data for statistical purposes.

We may disclose your data if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

Your data is stored on protected servers with SSL/TLS encryption. We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

Retention periods: account data is retained as long as your account is active. Visa documents are deleted within 90 days of service completion. Usage logs are retained for 12 months. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

We use essential cookies: for the proper functioning of the platform, to maintain your login session, to remember your language preferences.

Analytical cookies: to understand how the platform is used and improve it.

You have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing of your data, transfer your data to another provider, object to processing of your data.

Our platform is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that data from a person under 18 has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

Your data may be stored and processed in countries other than your country of residence. When transferring data outside Algeria, we ensure that an adequate level of protection is provided in accordance with applicable laws.

In the event of a data breach affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the competent authorities within 72 hours of discovering the breach.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or notification on the platform.
