The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a range of fully funded scholarships for Master's degree programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields in Germany. This program aims to support the qualification and employment of young academics and future professionals from developing and emerging countries, providing them with the opportunity to pursue their academic and professional careers in STEM fields in Germany.
The scholarship is provided for a duration of 10 months, up to a maximum of 24 months, depending on the standard study period of the chosen Master's program. Applicants should specify the full desired scholarship duration in their application. Academic achievements will be evaluated after the first year of study; if successful, the scholarship will continue as planned. The scholarship usually begins on October 1st of the following year, or earlier if an intensive German language course is attended prior to the study program.
This program targets high-achieving students from developing and emerging countries who wish to complete a Master's degree in STEM fields at a German university. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following conditions:
• Have completed a first university degree (e.g., Bachelor's) recognized in Germany before the application deadline.

- Demonstrate above-average academic performance.
- Provide proof of B1 level proficiency (certificate not older than two years) in the language(s) of instruction (German, English, or both) of the chosen study program.
- Interdisciplinary study programs must focus on STEM fields.
