How Provincial Nominee Programs work
Each province and territory (except Quebec and Nunavut, which have their own systems) selects candidates who match its labour market needs through its own streams.
What does a nomination change?
For streams aligned with Express Entry, a nomination adds 600 CRS points to your profile. Other streams are processed outside Express Entry with a paper or online application to IRCC.
How do I choose a province?
Compare the streams with your occupation, language level and any job offer or studies in the province. Streams, quotas and processing times change often: always confirm on the official provincial website.
